She was predeceased by : her parents, Carey Parish and Gertha Lee Howard; her husband Billy Paul Mitchell; and her siblings, Frank O. Parish Sr. and Beannetta Parish Allen.

She is survived by : her children, Ricky, Kenneth Mitchell (Sherry) and Jennifer Mitchell; her grandson Ryan Mitchell; her sister Jeannetta Parish Newson; and her sister-in-law Meryl Mitchell Knox. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
