Burns (Dannette), Jason Burns and Rodney Burns (Lauren); his sisters, Brenda O'Conor (Thomas) and Sue Mahaffey; his grandchildren, Kimberly Rangel, Steven Bolyer, Joe Evans II, Stacy Casas, Shawn, Chris Rivers, Kendall Burns, Ashlyn Anderson Burns, Tate and Beau Burns; and his great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Aiden Rangel, Donavan Hicks, Makaila, Danielle Casas, Kamrun, Joseph, Ethan, Robin, Aeidia, Breanna, Brittany Evans and Ridge Bolyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
