It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Zesch of Mason, Texas, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Zesch and Benellen Zesch (Hey); his grandfather James River Ranch; and his sister Peggy Laverty. He is survived by: his pet Mason; his friend Tom Harrison; his wife Patsy Underwood; his sons, Casey (Lucinda) and Scott (Amelia); his grandsons, Zach (Nicki) and Ben (Raquel); his great grandchildren, Harper and Lily Grace; his stepgrandchildren, Augusta, Myles and Matt Banner (Molly); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Eric, Larissa, Andy and Izak Call; and his sister-in-law Karen Underwood. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
