Mark Hey wrote a sympathy message

“Trudy, Larry, James and children of the same, I missed Elvie's funeral due to not hearing of her passing timely, and again, only today learned of Herbert's death. There are many fond memories which I have of going to the Donop home or seeing Herbert and Elvie at community functions/family reunions/church, etc. I very much admired your parents, their commitment to God, each other and their family, relatives, friends and neighbors, remembering all the good times and fellowship over the years.”
