He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Marek and Vida Marek of Industry; his parents-in-law, Homer and Ruth Martin; and his siblings, Shirley (Bobby Plemons), Clarence (Bernice) and Douglas (Kay).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ruth Marek of Mason; his children, Jason Marek (Felice) of Harper and Julie Tedder (Jay) of Mason; his grandchildren, Justyn McAndrews (Sean), Jax Tedder, Kelton Marek and Kolby Marek; his great grandchild Margot Jay McAndrews; his brother-in-law Homer Martin, Jr. (Linda Park); and his stepmother Flora Marek of Industry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marek Scholarship Fund at Mason Bank.
