Billy Campbell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Campbell of Matador, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Kirby Campbell; his brothers, James Campbell and Bobby Johnson; and his grandparents, Turner Campbell, Mary Campbell, Jesse Allen and Pearl Allen.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Campbell of Matador, Texas; his brother Douglas Campbell; his wife Lori Campbell; his daughter JoBeth; his son-in-law Matt Vance; his grandchildren, Sterling Paul Vance and Stetson Douglas Vance; his son Britt; his daughter-in-law Ashley Campbell; his grandchildren, Hugh Paul Campbell, Goldie Mae Campbell and Hutch William Campbell; and his sister-in-law Janie Campbell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the WRCA Ranch, Motley Dickens Old Settlers Reunion and Rodeo Scholarship Fund, an organization close to Billy Paul's heart.
