He was predeceased by: his stepfather Oscar Hernandez; and his brother Martin Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Flores Gonzales; his parents, Felipa Hernandez and Jose Gonzales (Josie); and his siblings, Oscar Hernandez Jr. (Diane), Noe Hernandez (Wendy), Pedro Guevara Hernandez (Kim), Rene Gonzales (Nickelle), Michael Gonzales (Monica), San Juanita Hernandez, Minerva Hernandez, Cecilia Guevara (Bill Lesley), Mary Christi Hernandez, Sylvia Hernandez and Adriana Perez (Phillip). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (217 W San Patricio Ave, Mathis, TX 78368). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
