It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria D. Casares of Mathis, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leandro Resio and Guadalupe Resio; her husband Benito Casares; and her siblings, Joaquin, Manuel, Juan, Leandro II, Santiago Trejo, Jesusa Garza, Aurelia Resio, Adela Resio and Guadalupe Ganceres.

She is survived by : her siblings, Antonia Munoz (Santiago), Roberto Resio (Jean), Pedro Resio (Cynthia) and Raul Resio (Celerina); and her half-sister Guadalupe Lopez.
