He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mitchell of Malta, Texas; his children, Carla Phares of Wake Village, Dea (Mike Kidd), Tonja (Floyd Wright), Shane Mitchell of Seattle and Chris (Kimberly Smallwood); his grandchildren, Weston Bagwell, Deven Bagwell, Morgan Bridwell, Allie Bagwell, Amber Long, Tanner Morten, Brookelynn Wright, Jordan Biswell, Madeline Smallwood, Gracie Smallwood and Hunter Smallwood; and his siblings, Judy Keeling, Wanda Brown, Deanne Ward, Clifton (Karen Mitchell) and Roylyn Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church (4341 FM 2149 – Maud, Texas 75567).
