Edna Lynn Whitehead Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Lynn Whitehead in Maud, Texas, who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Ellis and Harry Ellis; her husband Timothy "Tim" Whitehead; her brother Curtis Whitehead (Gladys); and her sister-in-law Carolyn Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Stewart (Rikki), Mandy Rankin (Frankey) and Ryan Whitehead (Lacey); her grandchildren, Kelsey Stewart, Kaley Harris (Jackson), Cole Rankin (Hannah), Hope Rankin, Taylor and Riggs Whitehead; her great grandchildren, Waylon Rankin and Oliver Brooks; her siblings, Pamela Ostrom, Wanda Pruden (Paul), Mike Ellis (Mary) and Doug Whitehead (Glenda); and her sister-in-law Vickie Hamilton. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to be made to the Hooks or Redwater Athletic Boosters.
