He is survived by: his daughter Karen Read of Maud, Texas; his grandchildren, Christopher Abston of Maud, Matthew Abston of Maud and Kinsley Boyd of Gainesville, Texas; his great grandchildren, Alex Abston of Maud and Bradley Abston of Maud, Texas; his brothers, Joe (Shelia Stacey) and James Stacey of Alabama; and his cousins, Rusty "Melvin" Rushing and Nancy Boyd. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
