He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Champagne; his son Nathan Cooper; and his girlfriend Elizabeth Cooper. He is survived by: his son Darren Cooper; his mother Elizabeth Champagne; his siblings, Tommy Champagne and Lizabeth Johnson; and his close friends, Roy Thomas and Ron Schulenburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
