He is survived by: his wife Diana Silvia Flores of Guajardo; his children, Eligio Guajardo Flores (Nancy Treviño Guajardo), Diana Isabel Guajardo and Cecilia Ibarra; his grandchildren, Gilberto, Patricio, Andrea, Santiago, Ricardo, Roman, Luciano, Alejandro and Cecilia; and his great grandchildren, Leía, Luke, Leo, Liliana, Lorelai, Dorothy, Cyrus, Sebastian and Gabriela.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1108 Hackberry Ave, McAllen, TX 78501).
