He is survived by : his wife Nereida Maldonado; his stepchildren, Yuvia Maldonado, Filiberto Maldonado and Brisa Maldonado; his parents, Luis Savedra Garcia and Margarita Valdez Quintero; and his siblings, Alejandro Savedra, Graciela Savedra and Sandra Savedra. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home - McAllen (1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
