He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jackson and Manuela Jackson; and his wife Carmen Ramirez Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Le Roy Jackson, Jr. (Brenda Lopez) and Adrianna Caldwell (Gregory); his grandchildren, Katherine Caldwell, Hunter R. Jackson (Victoria), Avery L. Jackson and Devin Lewis; his great grandchildren, Tristen Jackson and Ryder Jackson; and his sisters, Irma Limas and Amanda Solis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. (314 N 10th St, McAllen, TX 78501). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (1108 W Hackberry Ave, McAllen, TX 78501).
He taught 7th and 8th grade math at La Joya ISD where he was selected to participate in a National Science Foundation Math Institute at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and also at the University of Texas at Austin.
