He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, Gina Biel (Carter), Manny Hernandez Jr. (Monica) and Charlie Hernandez (Deniece); his grandchildren, Ashlynn Elliff (Chris), Anthony Rivera and Alex Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Charley May, Foster and Kenley; and his siblings, Minnie Villarreal, Eloy Hernandez and Oralia Edgel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
