With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nuria Prendes of McAllen, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Boada and Manuela Boada; her husband Jorge Gustavo Prendes; and her siblings, Juan Boada, Gertrudis Boada, Antonia Boada, Jose Boada and Maelia Fernandez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nuria Putnam of Dallas and Maelia Davis of Cypress; her grandchildren, George Anthony Putnam, Tina Putnam of Denton, TX, David Charles Putnam of Dallas, TX, Nuria A. Putnam of Los Alamos, NM, Roger Macin, Haley Macin of Austin, TX, Alex Macin of West Point, NY, Kara Haywood, Tom Haywood of Monroe, GA, Emily Davis of Spokane, WA, Heather Davis of Virginia Beach, VA and Tania Macin; and her siblings, Pablo Boada of McAllen, Texas. and Silvina Diaz of McAllen, Texas..
