He was predeceased by: his daughter Daisy González-Alaniz; his parents, Roberto González and Olympia González; his sister Norma Linda González-Zarate; and his brother-in-law Fermin Cobo.
He is survived by: his wife Margarita Gutierrez; his daughter Debbie Fernandez (Santiago); his son-in-law Gilbert Alaniz; his grandchildren, Natalia Lopez (Mychal Gadison), Javier Lopez, Alexa Fernandez and Andre Fernandez; his great grandchild Xena D. Gadison; and his siblings, Graciela Cobo and Rene González (Irma). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
