He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ovide Claing and Adeline Claing (Mello); his siblings, Rosemary (Rybka) and Morris; his wife Suzanne (Chamberland); his children, Dave (Sarah) and Laurie (Trent); and his pet Larry.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1108 W Hackberry Ave, McAllen, TX 78501). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
