She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Harrod Appling and Clara Irene Appling (Burnes); her husband Melvin Ray Evans; her children, Shellie Rae Mayfield (Eric), Tiffanie Denise Evans (Cody) and Matthew Grant Evans (Sarah); her grandchildren, Timothy, Tabitha, Makayla, Cody, Mackenzie, Kylie and Ayden; and her siblings, Vicki Fielden (Travis) and Thomas Ace Appling. She was also cherished by her 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
