She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey Hicks and Artie Mae Hicks (Burdette); her spouse C. C. Schultz; and her daughter-in-law Lauri Schultz. She is survived by : her children, Timothy Schultz (Ellen), Steven Schultz (Susan) and Robin Cavender (Steve); her grandchildren, Kelly Schultz Herndon (Nick), Brett Schultz (Sheila), Brandon Howard (Jennifer), Drew Schultz (Jessica), Daniel Schultz, Zach Cavender and Zane Cavender (Abby); and her brother Jackie Hicks (Mary Jane). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Methodist Church, Moody, Texas; Clarewood House in Houston, Texas or the Methodist Childrens Home in Waco, Texas.
