He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Veal (Dew) and Walter August Brinkman Sr.; and his siblings, Hugh Louis Brinkman and Sue Brinkman Alston. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Brinkman (Broom); his children, Erin Brinkman Kinch (Stephen) and Jamie Elizabeth Brinkman (Mengmeng Zhang); his grandchildren, Summerlyn Anne and Karalynn Noelle Kinch; and his children, Happy, Lucky and Toby.
