He is survived by: his wife Saramma; his children, Matthew (Bincy), Betty (Sunny), Sam (Sharon) and Bensey (Sinu); his grandchildren, Stephen (Joann), Boaz, Sarah, Alyssa, Cianna, Ashton, Emma, Levi and Elijah; his great grandchild Simone; and his siblings, M. M. Thankamma, M. M. Thomas, M. M. Babykutty and M. M. Johneykutty.
In 2019, Kunjumon began experiencing memory loss and dementia, which eventually progressed to Alzheimer's disease.
