We announce the death of Adele Elaine Martin (McKinney, Texas), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Adele will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Adele will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Adele will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Adele’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert. She is survived by: her sons, Darrell (Ana), Jeff and Brian; her grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Elena Janelle and David; and her sister Linda Cooper of Shawnee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith Funeral Home (601 S Tennessee St, McKinney, TX 75069). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at 2135 Chapel Ln, McKinney, TX 75069.
