He is survived by: his daughter Cheri Boerner (Duncan); his grandchildren, Douglas Gammill and Halee Stroud (Trevor); his great grandchildren, Deegan and Caydan Gammill; his brother Danny Duncan (Janet (Chapin) Duncan); his sister-in-law Doris Duncan (Boyd); his nieces and nephews, Sue Stogie (Duncan), Doug Duncan (Wendy), Guy Duncan (Natalie (Foster) Duncan), Donna Simon (Butch) and Jennifer Pierce (Jeffrey); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lindsey Gumz, Michelle Duncan, Melinda Duncan, Lisa Dahr (Danny), Luke Duncan, Hoyt Duncan, Dean Duncan, Blair Duncan, Sarah Shortt (Patrick Nolan), Daniel Simon, Abbie Lowe (Duncan), Katie Duncan, Jack Pierce and Jenna Pierce; his great-niece Sue Whiteside (Weldon); Jeffrey Stevenson, Joseph Hudson, Andrew Hudson, Jack Nolan, Max Nolan, Tomas Nolan, Jayden Hilliard, Jasmine Hilliard, Abigail Dahr, Hannah Dahr and Isabella Dahr.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home (201 W Maple St, Whitewright, TX 75491).
