We bid farewell to Walter Edward Carroll (McKinney, Texas), born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Larkin Carroll and Gertrude Marion Harris; his granddaughter Brandi; and his son Walter E. Carroll, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Carroll; his children, Michel Carroll (Tamelia), Ronald Carroll (Pilar), Brian Carroll (Jackie) and Valerie Carroll; and his stepchildren, Khrystell Shelton and Russell Shelton (Crystal). He is also survived by numerous grand-children, great grand-children and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery.
Walter requested donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
