He is survived by: his wife Guillermina Herrera Ramirez; his mother Maria Gudalupe Quinones Celis; his children, Cesar Retana (Martha), Judith Retana and Maria Retana; and his siblings, Armando Retana Quinones, Maria Leticia Retana Quinones and Luz Maria Gonzalez.
