Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Joshua Stearns. He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Stearns and Brenda Stearns; his daughter Amanda Chapa (Carlos); his grandchildren, Andrew and Caitlin Chapa; and his siblings, Debbie Brown (Mike), Sandra Short (Tim), Barbara Gentleman and James Stearns (Demetra).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trickham Cemetery (13601 FM 1176, Santa Anna, TX 76878).
