He is survived by: his children, Rod Koen (Lauren) of Lewisville, Tina Hartman (Greg) of Melissa and Gary Koen (Kim) of North Richland Hills, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Madison (Alma Libra), Sterling, Cassandra Gelker (Garth), Moriah Millican (Jarrod), Zak Koen (Iris), Morgan Monterroso (Mario), Natalie Koen and Dylan Koen. He is also survived by many great-grand children.
A procession will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Entrance and Line Up Behind the Scoggins Funeral Home (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
