She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesus Castañuela and Josephina Castañuela; her children, Beaatrice Sandoval, Maria Louisa Sandoval, Robert Sandoval and Frankie Sandoval; and her siblings, Jesse Castañuela, Juan Antonio Castañuela and Minerva Perez.
She is survived by : her husband Francisco Sandoval; her children, Helen Onyegbadou (Uche) of Brady, Sylvia Silva of Melvin, Louis Sandoval of Fredericksburg, Mayor Josephine S. Castillo of Melvin, Elizabeth Stephenson (Kevin Ullrich) of Melvin and Michael Sandoval (Lynn) of Brady; and her siblings, Richard Castañuela (Judy), Ernesto Castañuela (J. P.), Ruben Castañuela (Maria), Alex Castañuela (Linda), Manuel Castañuela, Sam Castañuela (Mary), Roger Castañuela (Marilyn), Ramiro Castañuela (Nancy), Celia Fernandez (Daniel), Delia Ramon (Ruben), Esther Flores and Irma Rodriquez (Albert). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren.
