He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Robert Pope and Naomi Maud Pope (Stewart); and his brother Damon Burrier. He is survived by: his brother Harold Pope (Roxie) of San Angelo, Texas; and his nieces, Rebecca Peterson (Paul) of Kyle and Raylene Valdez (Mike) of San Angleo. He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial contributions in memory of Darrel Calvin Pope may be made to the American Legion in Menard.
