She was predeceased by: her mother Mae Rogers; her granddaughter Lilly Joy Gamel; and her parent Merlin B. Rogers. She is survived by: her husband Charles Kothmann; her grandsons, Phillip and James Edmonson; and her daughters, Merlina Ann (Steve Gamel), Charla Elehne (Russell Bading) and Maela Katherine (Scott Edmonson).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Lilly Joy Scholarship Fund.
