As we bid adieu to Kay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Kay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, OJ Bagby and Bernice Lewis Bagby; and her brother Arthur Bagby. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Carrie Beasley) and Jon (Sheila Bright); and her siblings, Edith Kennedy, Ferrell Bagby and Shannon Barnes. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, food, or gifts, the family would ask that donations to the Merkel Museum be made in her honor.
