Gary Wayne Nightingale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Nightingale of Mesquite, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhardt Nightingale and Ruby Fleming Nightingale; and his brothers, Donny and Randy Nightingale. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hatch Nightingale; his brother Ben Nightingale (Carolin); and his daughters, Kerry Ross (Weldon), Tonja Dwyer (Bobby), Leslie Chapin (Rodney) and Amanda Ramon (Brian). He is also survived by grandchildren and fourteen precious great-grandchildren.
