She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Haire and Ruth Groves Haire; her sisters, Ida Woodard, Hazel Moor and Margaret Potts; her husband Norman Eugene Hightower; her daughter Brenda Patterson; her daughter-in-law Karen Hightower; and her grandchildren, Chris, Shelly Pickle and Shelby Hightower.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Hightower and Paula Pickle (Jerry Wright); her grandchildren, David Hightower (Lisa), Kim Patterson, Ashley Rion (Chris) and Ray Jr. Hightower; her great grandchildren, Justin Russell (Mika), Cadence, Kennedy Turner, Audrey and Wess Hightower; and her great great grandchildren, Brantle and Emma Russell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Park (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180).
