John David Earhart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David Earhart of Mesquite, Texas, born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Veda Hartgraves and Benjamin Howard Earhart; his siblings, Lawrence Howard (Nadine Earhart) and Carolyn Sue (Bill Foster); and the mother of his children Barbara Jean Earhart.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Debbie Earhart), Tina Earhart and Steve Earhart (Shannon Moon); his grandchildren, Jennifer Earhart, Sarah Taylor, Jasmine (Jeff Barton), Georgia Earhart and Jacob Earhart; and his extended family, Kathleen, Joe Galicia, Angela and Steve Cannon. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 2205.
In lieu of flowers, please give to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Post 2205 non-profit General Fund to support local Veterans.
