She was predeceased by : her parents, Elzie James and Inez Peace Brooks; and her brother Claude. She is survived by : her former life partner Nathan "Tony" Briggs; her son Nathan L. Briggs (Lisa) of Mexia; her sister Aleta Trahan (Earl) of Riverside, Texas; her grandchildren, Lacey Deal (Steven) of Mexia, Christopher Lloyd (Valarie) of Bellmead and Christina Amezquita (Isaac) of Honolulu, Hawaii; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Zane, Presley, Autumn, River Deal and Junior Lloyd. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
