With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Joe Hill Sr. of Mexia, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hill and Pauline Hill; and his siblings, Jerry, Jack, Billy, Jimmy, Betty, Judy and Cleo.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Joe Hill II (Tara) of Mexia and Becky Jo Mattice (Bobby) of Hondo, Texas; his grandsons, Trace Mattice of Hondo and Tripp Hill of Mexia; and his brother Mack Alan Hill.
Bobby's son, Bobby Joe, has asked that although flowers are nice, please consider instead making a memorial contribution in Bobby's honor to the Cody NesSmith Foundation.
