He is survived by : his wife Betty Dortch; his children, Jennie, Johnny Sutton, Gwen, James Hollister and Heather Higdon; his grandchildren, Cody, Taylor Stroder, Aspen Matthews, Colton Sutton and Ashley Ford (Sutton); his great grandchild JoJo Stroder; and his brother Jack Dortch (Carolyn Dortch). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
