With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dan Hodges Montgomery in Mexia, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Montgomery and Robert Montgomery; and his brother Bob Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Elizabeth Montgomery Dukes; his granddaughter Kate Dukes Temple (Will); his great grandchild Lucy Temple; his sister Jane Montgomery Osborn (Jim); Dan Montgomery Jr. (Kara), Ford, Gus, Andrew Montgomery (Molly), Mae, Drew and Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
