He was predeceased by: his mother Francis Lucille (Holman); his siblings, Kenneth Harrington, Sharon Harrington, Janice Harrington, Francis Earl Harrington and Judith Arlene Harrington; his sister-in-law Dolores Elsberry Harrington; and his nephew Brian Scott Harrington.
He is survived by: his father Earl Harrington; and his children, Shannon Inman, Michael Harrington, Christy Monroe and Douglas Harrington, Jr..
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (304 N Denton St, Mexia, TX 76667). A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery.
