She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Mae Hoenag and William Edwards Monk; her grandfather Graham; her siblings, Nancy, Jennie, Flan and Rann; her children, Rickey Garlington, Larry Graham and Allison Tyndall; her children-in-law, Donnie Chasteen, Roger Tyndall and Janie Jordon; her grandson Michael Graham; and her grandsons-in-law, Joe Daniell and Bryan Bradley.
She is survived by: her spouse Lawence Paul; her daughter Linda Chasteen; her grandchildren, Donna Richardson, Liz Bradley, Denise Graham, Lynnette, Brian Payne, Donald, Juanita Chasteen, Jon David, Laure Esquivel and Laurie Anne Esquivel; and her close friend Doris Johnson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, as she always said "Give them to me while I'm alive," memorials may be made to Mount Calm Baptist Church or Hill County Gideon Camp.
