He is survived by : his parents, Ignacio Aldan and Felecita Repeki Aldan; his wife Debra Aldan; and his children, Michael Delacruz (Dorraine Aguilar), Madlene Delacruz (Josue Rosas), Marleen Delacruz (Diego Bubauta), Maximo Delacruz (Krystal Johnson), Melvin Aldan, Jr. (Francine Palomo), Malea Aldan (Kobe Lacey), Martolin Aldan, Allen Aldan and Maria Aldan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mexia High School (1120 N Ross Ave, Mexia, TX 76667).
