He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie C. Samford and Lorene Samford (Taylor); his wife Virginia Samford; and his brother Jerry Samford. He is survived by: his sons, Michael G. Samford (Sandy) of Waco and Scotty L. Samford (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Madison, A'Rhyan and Brycson Samford. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
