She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Tommie Beatrice Cobbs (Barge); her husband Billy D. Sims; and her daughter-in-law Shelia Sims. She is survived by: her son Charles Sims; her grandchildren, Cameron Sims (Dallas) and Samantha Sims; and her great grandchildren, Adleigh Sims, Sonny Sims and Creighton Sims. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blair Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
