She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Buffaloe and Viola Buffaloe; and her husband James Robert Monroe. She is survived by: her family Monroe Auto Supply; her daughters, Sherry Asebedo (Sam) of Haskell and Stacy Brooks of Midland; and her grandchildren, Jami Sutton (Matthew), David Scarberry (Jessica), Tyler Brooks (Saren), Jaycie Alford (Braden), Candi Oviedo (Julian), Marc Asebedo (Lauren) and Christopher Asebedo (Sarah). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Midland.
