He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Perez; his grandparents, Concepcion, Martin Garcia, Jonas Perez and Delores Ramirez Perez; and his granddaughter Valerie Ann Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Perez; his mother Concepcion Perez; his children, Enedina Perez (Nina) of Odessa, Andrea Perez of San Angelo, David Perez Jr. (Gracie Reyes) of Midland and Jonas Perez of Odessa; his siblings, Maria Diaz (Ruben) of Midland, Linda Garcia of Midland, Raymundo Perez of Acuna, Martin Perez of Acuna, Ruben Perez Jr. (Marisol) of Acuna, Juan Perez (Berta) of Acuna and Mexico; his grandchildren, Angela Perez, David Perez III, Mariah Perez, Giovonni Perez, Mallory Perez and Brayden Zaragoza; his stepdaughter Ashlie (Francisco Menchaca); his son Benjamin Asher Menchaca; his stepdaughter Leslie (Jose Ramon); his children, Kaylee Carrillo, Nicole Roman and Jose Roman III; his stepson Aristeo Zuniga; his son Juan Federico Morales II; his stepson Isaiah Rodriguez (Zeila Cabello); and his daughters, Zoe of Midland and Sophia of Midland.
