He was predeceased by: his mother Cleo Welch; and his siblings, Arma Lee Frymire, Glenda Videtto, Maxine Willis, Jeanne Lubby Durl Welch and Dwaine Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Neslony Welch of Midland; his children, Todd (Deann Welch), Troy Welch, Shelby Welch and Colby (Kaycee Welch); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Brent Hanauer, Carissa, Jeff Gressett, Ashlee, Chance Bonner, Ethan, Madison Welch, Brayden Welch (Kynlee Barnes), Claire Hunt, Colson Welch and Kendall Welch; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Tucker, Easton, Weston and Lawson; and his siblings, Jerry Cook, Kaye Hanks, Judy (Ron Guthrie), Sue Frymire and Doak (Beverly Welch). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
