It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jo Earl of Midland, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Simmons and Mary Simmons; her husband James D. Earl; and her children, James Monty Earl and Tammy Jo Earl.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Bowen of Midland; her sisters, Glynith Matlock of Brownwood, TX, Ann Hitch of Brownwood, TX, Betty Roberts of Houston, TX and Debra Cunningham of Midland; and her grandchildren, Montana Earl Midland, Jamie and Makenzie. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
