He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Wright and Bertha Wright; his sister Sharon McWilliams; his in-laws, Gene and Fayla Thompson; and his brother-in-law Danny Thompson.
He is survived by: his family, Gigga, Taylor and Tinsley; his wife Gena Thompson Wright; his children, Randy Wright (Whitney) and Rachel Whitney (Justin); his granddaughters, Taylor and Tinsley; and his sister Margie Appleton (Mickey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
